Olivia Dean’s freshly announced Art of Loving Live tour ignited a public controversy about ticket resale scams and inflated prices. The moment the on-sale went live, fans reported long virtual queues and listings priced well above face value in several cities.

The British singer addressed the issue on Instagram from the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York, stating that her team was ‘looking into’ the unexpected resale activity and warning fans to beware of comment-section sellers who may be scammers. ‘I’m sorry that there seems to be an issue with ticket re-selling and pricing,’ she wrote, ‘My team are currently looking into it. It is extremely frustrating as the last thing I want is for anyone to be scammed or overcharged for our shows. Please be wary of buying tickets in the comment sections as it is most likely a scam.’

She added a pointed rebuke to the major ticketing platforms, saying, ‘@ticketmaster @livenation @aegpresents you are providing a disgusting service. The prices at which you’re allowing tickets to be re-sold is vile and completely against our wishes. Live music should be affordable and accessible and we need to find a new way of making that possible. BE BETTER.’
